Eco Brixs has expanded its Masaka factory to recycle more plastic than ever! With new machinery, we’re aiming to grow to recycle 250 tonnes monthly, creating more green jobs than ever! Even during the upgrade, we bought 200+ tonnes from the community. By turning waste into opportunity, we help people like Babirye and Abdul transform their lives while protecting the planet.

Immaculate, a certified nurse and one of 100 full-time Eco Brixs staff, turned holiday sorting jobs into a career. From supporting her university studies to becoming First Aid Officer and Assistant Receiving Manager, she now plays a key role in accepting, weighing, and buying plastic from collectors — proving that passion, education, and persistence transform lives.

At 53, Namulondo Grace transformed her life by setting up an Eco Brixs Recycling Hub, where local people bring plastic for recycling. Once struggling with her salon, she now earns stable income, has restored her confidence, and is exploring expanding her plastic recycling business. Grace’s journey shows how women in Uganda are finding dignity and financial independence through sustainable livelihoods.
