2026 is underway at Eco Brixs. In just six weeks, we’ve already received over 260,000 kg of plastic for recycling — building on a record-breaking 2025 where we recycled 2,056 tonnes and created 5,550 green jobs. Thanks to your support, including £46,734 raised through our BBC Radio 4 Appeal, we’re expanding across Uganda to recycle more plastic and create even more sustainable jobs.

Eco Brixs is proud to be featured on the BBC Radio 4 Appeal on Sunday 14 December, presented by Liz Earle MBE. She’ll share how Eco Brixs turns plastic waste into jobs and opportunity across Uganda. Eco Brixs has expanded its Masaka factory to recycle more plastic than ever! With new machinery, we’re aiming to grow to recycle 250 tonnes monthly, creating more green jobs than ever! Even during the upgrade, we bought 200+ tonnes from the community. By turning waste into opportunity, we help people like Babirye and Abdul transform their lives while protecting the planet.
