Last month, Eco Brixs was honoured to receive the Commonwealth-Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Green Investment Award at the Commonwealth Trade and Investment Forum 2023, which was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The award was presented by Bangladesh's Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina. The award invited small and medium innovative enterprises from across the Commonwealth to participate. The judging panel was made up of sustainability experts, business leaders and academics.
We're extremely proud they chose Eco Brixs to win this award, as they saw our efforts in Uganda as 'working to revolutionise the recycling sector'. They especially liked how our inclusive model is inspiring the whole community to participate in the solution to the country's plastic problem!
